Family

So, a quick post to update what has been happening in my life since my last non update...ya'll still love me though.
So, our new black kitty, named by his daddy Eeeeevil, is the perfect little boy. He has never had a single accident, and is as sweet as can be. I'm glad I made the decision add the new addition to our family, even though his two older brothers took a few days (or weeks in Chiisai's case) to learn to love and accept the newest member.
My brother Gary came home from his second tour overseas, and we're happy that he is home and safe. Since he has come home, he has continued his plan of socializing his anitsocial sister and brother in law by making sure we know we're always invited to his weekly get togethers with his friends. It helps us because we would rather stay home and not see people, because its easier, but he drags us both out of the home and makes us play nice and be SOCIAL...
Alec recently tried out for 7 brides for 7 brothers, and was cast as one of the suitors. I tried out as well, but I really don't like people looking at me, so I wasn't sad or upset to not be cast. He is going to have a very busy summer with practices, and then a month of performances, luckily he'll only have to perform 3 nights a week, rather than 6 because they double cast. Practices barely started last night, and they're already creating a headache for the two of us. However, we'll survive, and I know Alec will have a lot of fun.
We're getting ready to do another remodel on our home,this time it'll finish the project we started last year, and finish up the front room, plus the wall that we opened up between the front room and the dining room. We're going to sand and stain the floors, repaint the walls, and build the archway, or lattice work to cover up the exposed beams. I'm excited, I never thought I'd be exicted to remodel a house, but every project we've done has been fun.
As I say every time, I really should post pictures...oh well, I haven't posted to facebook either, so don't kill me.

I'm expecting!

A new baby kitty in April :)
I wasn't going to, I thought that two was more than enough. But yesterday in church, we were sitting in the lobby during sacrament meeting, and it seemed like everyone that has a baby decided to come out into the lobby that day, and I got so stressed out and turned to Alec and said we needed another kitty.
I was kind of joking, I just barely got Chiisai to stop having accidents on the floor, and I still go to the litterboxes every couple of hours anticipating a accident right outside the box.
Still, I kind of wanted a new little baby to hold. I was telling a coworker how I had seen a cat on ksl.com that the owner was selling and she was pregnant. My coworker wanted to see the picture, and when I went to pull it up, I found five babies instead. They are going to come with their first set of shots already taken care of, plus they'll be fixed, all for the low low price of $15. So I asked Alec really nicely if we could go look, and we found our new baby. I'm hoping that he won't have potty training issues. I've learned enough tricks to try that we should be fine, but I've spent the last year and three months cleaning up accidents, and I'm done. (Yes I realize that when I have an actual baby I'll clean diapers for longer, but Alec is willing to change a diaper, but not clean cat poo...)
